Can I go home the same day?
Yes. Explant surgery is outpatient—you’ll relax in recovery for about an hour, then a trusted adult can drive you home to start healing in your own bed.
Do I need special after-care?
Plan on a soft surgical bra for two weeks, sleeping on your back, and cool compresses for the first 48 hours. We rarely need drains or lymphatic massage with our technique.
Are there alternative procedures or complementary add-ons?
