Frequently asked questions

Answers about your consultation, treatments, and visit to Leva Medical.

Your consultation

How do I schedule a consultation?

Visit our scheduling page, choose an available location and doctor, and view appointment times. For help, call 929-531-7078 or contact our office.

Are your doctors bilingual?

Yes. Every physician in our practice is fully fluent in both English and Spanish, ensuring clear, comfortable communication for all patients.

Who conducts the consultation—doctor or coordinator?

Every consultation is with a board-certified doctor, never a patient coordinator, so you discuss goals, options, and pricing directly with the physician who will oversee your care.

Doctors & treatments

Who actually performs my surgery—or my injectables?

Surgical procedures: handled start-to-finish by Dr. Jean-Paul Leva, FACS, double board-certified surgeon.Injectables, lasers & advanced skin therapies: performed by Dr. Jacquelline Leva, triple board-certified aesthetics specialist. No PAs, NPs, residents, or “ghost surgeons.”

Do you offer non-surgical treatments—and who provides them?

We deliver a full spectrum of non-surgical services—injectables, lasers, PRP, advanced skincare, and physician-supervised weight-loss plans. Each treatment is performed by the doctor who specializes in that discipline, giving you board-certified expertise tailored to your goals.

Where can I learn more about your procedures?

Explore our body contouring procedures and injectable treatments, or browse the procedure categories in our menu. During your consultation, discuss the options that interest you with your doctor.

Can I see before-and-after photos?

Yes. Explore our before-and-after gallery by treatment category. Photos illustrate individual experiences; results vary and do not guarantee a particular outcome.

Safety & recovery

What anesthesia and patient-safety standards do you follow?

Anesthesia is tailored to you—local (awake) or full general. When general is required, it’s delivered exclusively by a board-certified physician anesthesiologist (MD or DO) for hospital-grade safety.

How soon can I get back to work or normal life after surgery?

Local-anesthesia procedures: most desk-based patients return in 3–7 days.
General-anesthesia surgeries: plan on 1–2 weeks for office jobs. Heavy lifting (> 15 lb) is paused 4–6 weeks.

What quality standards do you follow—do you ever cut corners?

Never. We invest in FDA-cleared technology, premium micro-surgical sutures, and medical-grade products for every procedure and treatment. You have only one body—so we treat it with the highest standards and utmost care. Don’t cut corners when it comes to your health—no shortcuts, ever.
