What Is Neurotoxin?

Botox® (onabotulinumtoxinA) and Daxxify® (daxibotulinumtoxinA) are FDA-approved neuromodulators that block nerve signals to specific facial muscles, softening the lines those muscles create. Smoothing begins in 3–5 days. Most conventional neurotoxin treatments last 3–4 months; Daxxify® can last up to 6 months for many patients.

How much does neurotoxin cost?

Can I go back to work right after treatment?
Yes. The session is under 20 minutes, and you can resume normal activities immediately—just stay upright for four hours and skip intense workouts until tomorrow.
Will I need special after-care?
Avoid rubbing or massaging the injected areas, skip saunas and hot yoga for 24 hours, and apply SPF daily. No bandages or downtime are required.
How soon will I see results and how long will they last?
Smoother skin typically appears within 3–5 days, peaks at two weeks, and gradually fades over 3–4 months — or up to 6 months for many patients with Daxxify® — before a maintenance visit is needed.
Does the injection hurt?
